Antoine Griezmann is a ‘caricature of himself’ in Barcelona, according to Martin Laserte who also mentioned the toxic environment at Camp Nou had a negative impact on the attacker.

“The coach has the right to make changes whenever he wants, but I judge the match against Atletico psychologically does not help Griezmann’s condition.”
“When something goes wrong, the coach should provide support and help the player. Griezmann has a responsibility, but the current environment does not help him succeed at all.”
“It would be very helpful if he joined Barca a year earlier. I suspect, when Griezmann claimed to stay at Atleti, something was broken in the Barca dressing room.”
Barca then sacked Ernesto Valverde when they were leading the standings in January and Lasarte described the momentum as Griezmann’s point of decline.
“Adaptation is indeed not an easy thing for Griezmann, but I feel he has managed to improve the game in December and January. Now he is filled with disappointment,” he continued.
“I do not know whether the change in the Barca coach is correct, because there is absolutely no improvement in sight.”
“And obviously, it has an impact on Griezmann’s situation.”
