Anti-mask protest escalates in Los Angeles

Today, a group of anti-maskers protested at Ralph’s and the Century City shopping mall. Lots of angry confrontations with customers and a few physical altercations.

Eventually, some protesters yelled at customers who asked them to mask themselves.

In particular, a customer at the grocery store was chased by a woman with a basket who was trying to run over him. When he was paying, the protester kicked him.

Other videos show protesters pushing doors of closed stores.

Los Angeles police have not made an arrest in connection with the protest. However, they accepted two assault complaints.

Los Angeles County recorded 12,488 new cases and 91 deaths on Sunday for a total of 818,639 cases and 10,773 deaths.
