Antec is actually primarily known for housings and power supplies. Working memory is also offered with the Antec Memory sub-brand. The Katana series is particularly striking.
The memory series was named after Japanese samurai swords – and the design of the RAM bars was also somewhat inspired by it. The metallic shine and the blade-shaped A-RGB light strip on the upper edge of the memory stick are distinctive. The CNC-made aluminum heat spreader should not only look good, it should also facilitate heat dissipation.
According to Antec, each individual memory chip is pre-tested with AIST (Antec IC Sorting Technology) and tested for stability on different mainboards for eight hours. For the time being there will be two kits: AM4U32168G11-7DKR is the name for a DDR4-3200 kit with two 8 GB bars. Alternatively, there is a DDR4-3600 kit with two 8 GB (AM4U36188G11-7DKR).
