The closure of Bali Airport will affect flight routes between Lombok and Bali, with six flights from Lombok to Bali, five Wings Air flights, and a Citilink flight scheduled on those days. Lombok Airport saw a significant increase in passenger movement during the 2023 World Superbike (WSBK) motorbike racing event, with an average of 6,575 passengers per day from March 1-6, reflecting an increase of 15.4 percent compared to February 2023. The airport has reported that there were 7,000 passengers per day arriving and departing from Lombok Airport ahead of Ramadan.
