Anouk has decided not to send her children to school just yet. The singer explains Instagram that she prefers to keep her family at home because she is afraid they will get sick.
Anouk spent the first few weeks of the corona crisis in Marrakesh, Morocco. The singer was there to work on new music, but was unable to return. She continued to write new songs there. She showed this to her fans via Instagram, who kept her informed of her situation.
The singer has been back in the Netherlands since April 27 and has not been able to write new music since. “It’s almost impossible with all the kids at home,” she tells her followers. “I am one of those parents who keep the children at home and no longer send them to school for the time being, because I am afraid that they will be able to receive something.”
Anouk says she realizes that they can also catch something in another way, but wants to limit the risk as much as possible. The singer has asthma and previously indicated that she does not want to run an unnecessary risk of getting the coronavirus.
Anouk has six children, ages four to eighteen.
