Another US state recognized the Holodomor as genocide

Holodomor continues to be recognized around the world

Texas became the 23rd state that recognized the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people.

The House of Representatives of the American state of Texas unanimously adopted a resolution recognizing the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people, the corresponding resolution was published on the website of the Texas Capitol.

Texas became the 23rd state to join the recognition of the Holodomor.

The document says that the House of Representatives of the 87th convocation of the state of Texas recognizes November 2021 as a month of remembrance for the victims of the genocide in Ukraine. Also, Texas residents are urged to honor the memory of those killed in the Holodomor.
