The French Football League match between Lyon and Marseille remained unfinished after a plastic bottle thrown from the auditorium hit the guest Dmitri Payet in the very beginning. The referee interrupted the 14th round in the fifth minute and ended it definitively after a break of about two hours.
The former French national teammaker Payet was hit in the left ear by a plastic bottle as he was about to play a corner kick. He collapsed to the ground and left the field after treatment with a bag of ice attached to his head.
This is disgraceful from Lyon fans. A bottle thrown at Payet & yet again, another Ligue 1 game suspended.
The biggest Ligue 1 season in years, the eyes of the world on it & this nonsense keeps happening. pic.twitter.com/QzrKqSfkNA

Referee Ruddy Buquet sent both teams to the cabins.
After about an hour, the announcer at the stadium announced that the match would continue. However, only the home players of Lyon appeared on the lawn, the guests remained in the locker room. After another hour, the referee ended the match prematurely for security reasons.
According to the AFP agency, the police arrested one fan, whom they identified using cameras in the stadium.
Payet has been the victim of a bottle attack this season in the August match in Nice. At that time, the vice-champion of Europe from 2016 threw the bottle back into the auditorium, which caused some domestic fans to penetrate the lawn and fight with players. Nice punished the disciplinary board by deducting a point in the table and another parole.
The Lens-Lille derby also accompanied the fans’ rally, with problems with fans this season also in Montpellier, Angers, Marseille and St. Etienne.
