WhatsApp spent 2021 more active than ever before. The famous messaging platform is equipped with many improvements and features, some from other applications such as Facebook Messenger and Telegram. Although there has been no radical change in the interface of the application, the latest information shows that the company is also working on a visual revision.
WABeta Info, which received prior notice about the updates to be released for WhatsApp and listed the innovations in beta versions, confirmed that a new interface for voice calls is being worked on.
The new interface is very similar to the old one, including the functionality of the screen, speaker, camera, microphone and mute keys. On the other hand, the old interface, which you will see in the image above, seems to have a sharper and more angular design than the new one. The background, which stands out as blue and full screen in the old interface, comes with a gray and rounded frame in the new interface.
While it won’t affect the functionality of the app, the new voice search interface will have a much more modern look and a rounded frame that has become more and more popular lately. However, it is said that the colors chosen for the new interface will make it easier to distinguish who you are talking to at the time.
According to the information from the WABetaInfo front, this new feature is currently only available for those who use WhatsApp Beta on the iOS platform. It is currently unclear when the new interface will be available for Android users.
