Another 1,088 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Lithuania and Estonia

18,687 analyzes were performed last day, thus the proportion of positive tests was 5.8%. A total of 2,606,339 analyzes were performed in Lithuania.

The total number of confirmed infections in Estonia has reached 116,678, and 67,155 people have been confirmed to recover.

A total of 1,070 people died in Estonia from Covid-19.

491 Covid-19 patients are currently being treated in hospitals. There are 57 people in intensive care, 44 patients have artificial lung ventilation.

The 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population on 16 April, as calculated by the Estonian Department of Health, is 621.6.

A total of 277,745 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Estonia, including 80,926 who have received a second dose of the vaccine.
