Delayed Ride Sparks Unexpected Romance: Anna Nooshin and Thijs Boermans Welcome Daughter Nala
Amsterdam, Netherlands – A delayed driver unexpectedly brought together influencer anna Nooshin and Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden (GTST) actor Thijs Boermans, leading to a whirlwind romance and the recent birth of their daughter, Nala. The couple, who officially announced their relationship in August 2023, shared the story of their unconventional beginnings in a recent interview.Boermans, describing a period of transition after a trip to Mexico, recounted meeting Nooshin at a birthday party held at his father’s house. Nooshin was brought to the party by a mutual friend, Robbert Rodenburg, following a recent breakup. Rodenburg reportedly told Nooshin, “That’s a nice guy,” but Nooshin herself questioned her presence at the student gathering, wondering, “What am I doing at a student party?”
Initially planning to leave the party quickly, Nooshin was briefly persuaded to stay by a tequila offered by Boermans. however, it was a delayed ride home that truly sparked their connection. “She looked at the house, beer everywhere, and said, ‘I have OCD, I don’t pull this,'” Boermans recalled with a laugh, referencing Nooshin’s immediate impulse to clean.
After Nooshin began tidying up, Boermans offered her a drink. Her playful response – “With or without Robbert?” – prompted Boermans’ decisive reply: “Without.” As Boermans put it, “And from there we now have a child.”
Despite the rapid connection, their romance faced an immediate logistical challenge when Nooshin relocated to New York shortly after their first meeting. “It was not at all the intention to start a family,” Boermans admitted, but he diligently traveled back and forth each weekend between filming GTST in the Netherlands and Nooshin’s new life in the US.The couple publicly confirmed their relationship in August 2023, with Nooshin discussing it further on an episode of Open Casa. They announced their pregnancy the same month, and welcomed daughter Nala six months later.
Nooshin has been candid online about the realities of motherhood,recently sharing that it has been “different than expected.”
