Anies Says Emergency Room is Empty, Gerindra: Field Checks!

Jakarta

Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan said the emergency room in some hospitals are now starting to have a lot of empty rooms. Gerindra criticized Anies’ statement.

“Pak Gub’s statement is still inversely proportional to the conditions in the field, try to check the valid data again, go down and support health workers in the field, especially to small types such as Puskesmas,” said Chair of the Gerindra faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Rani Mauliani, to reporters, Sunday (25 /7/2021).

Rani said that the hospital is not as busy as it was a few weeks ago. However, he said the current conditions could not be said to have many ICU rooms empty.

He said ANies should have checked the data and facts in the field. So it’s not just receiving reports from subordinates.

“Even though they may not be in the field, if the subordinates report valid data, it’s not as long as you’re happy, the factual conditions with the data shouldn’t be much different,” said Rani.

Previously, Anies reported the current condition of bed occupancy in the IGD of the COVID-19 Referral Hospital. Anies said that the emergency rooms in several hospitals were starting to empty.

The data, according to Anies, was compiled from reports from several hospitals in Jakarta. Anies said that the emergency room was no longer full.

“Just now we saw together, the IGD-IGD now have a lot of empty space, there are already empty spaces in our IGDs,” said Anies.

“So if you look at reports from hospitals, the number of IGD occupancy has started to no longer be full,” he continued.
