DKI Jakarta Provincial Government led Governor Anies Baswedan lost the trial at the State Administrative Court (PTUN) against the Golden Crown Disco, West Jakarta. Here’s the trace of the feud between the DKI Provincial Government and Diskotek Golden Crown.
As is known, PTUN Jakarta won the lawsuit filed by PT Mahkota Aman Sentosa (MAS) as the manager of Golden Crown.
The DKI Provincial Government revoked the discotheque business on February 7 after a raid and found 213 positive discotheque visitors using drugs.
The following are the traces of the feud between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the Golden Crown Disco:
1. DKI Provincial Government Already Gives a Warning
Golden Crown was one of the discotheques that had been given a warning by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in 2017. Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta at the time, Sandiaga Uno had said that he did not hesitate to mention a number of night entertainment venues that must immediately take steps to prevent drug trafficking.
“Illigals (Hotels and Clubs), Thematic (karaoke), Golden Crown (discotheque), and Classic (Hotel), B’Fashion Club, Happy Puppy (karaoke), Travel (Hotel), New Monggo Mas, Airport (Discotheque), Kota Indah (karaoke), and Top 1 (discotheque), “said Sandiaga at City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (12/19/2017).
At that time, Sandiaga admitted that he deliberately mentioned night spots that were indicated as drug trafficking and had received strong reprimands. This was done so that the nightclubs entrepreneurs immediately took steps to prevent and eradicate drugs in their places.
