Anies Allows Reclamation in Ancol, PDI-P Politicians: Breaking Campaign Promises, This Is Moral Page

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – DKI Jakarta Regional Representative Council (DPRD) Faction member Manuara Siahaan criticized DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan’s decision to issue a reclamation permit for the expansion of the Ancol Dreamland and Fantasy World (Dufan) Park area of 155 hectares.

According to him, Anies’s decision violated the promise of his own campaign about stopping reclamation in the Capital City.

“Yes, it violates the promise of his campaign. This concerns morals, promises involving morals, commitments. Integrity is measured by a person’s promise,” said Manuara when contacted Kompas.com, Monday (6/29/2020).

He considered Anies was not consistent in issuing statements and promises to the public.

“So first, the administration of the government must be consistent. Secondly, public policy accountability is the main thing. So do not issue policies that are not accountable, not accountable,” he said.

The member of Commission B said, at present there is no official regulation prohibiting Jakarta from reclamation.

This is because the Regional Regulation on Spatial Planning in DKI has not yet been ratified.

“There is no legal basis yet. Yes, that’s what we wanted to discuss yesterday were two zoning regulations and spatial planning. We have been a bit harsh, right? We can’t beat local regulations. We will inventory all regulations that contradict with the regulations. “I want to publish the governor regulations. He should have told me,” he explained.

This permit is included in the Governor’s Decree No. 237 of 2020. It contains the permit for the expansion of the Dufan recreation area of approximately 35 hectares (ha) and the approximately 120 hectares of Jaya Ancol Impian Park.

Anies signed the Kepgub on February 24, 2020.

The Kepgub also stated that the implementation of the expansion of the area was limited to the construction of retaining embankments, material losses and the maturation of the land resulting from the expansion.

Development on area expansion lands must refer to the Master Plan Spatial Plan and the Urban Design Guidelines (UDGL) as well as statutory provisions.

“The results of the implementation of the area expansion as referred to in the dictum must be certified by Land Management Rights (HPL) on behalf of the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta and become a burden on the costs of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Tbk,” the Kepgub wrote.
