Angers. A sofa on the railroad tracks blocked train traffic

Angers police intervened in a case of obstruction to rail traffic on Monday February 22. At 1.35 p.m., a witness saw a sofa on a section of the railway line between Boulevard Monplaisir and Boulevard de l’Industrie in Angers (Maine-et-Loire).

Suspected adolescents

When police arrived at the scene, three boys introduced themselves to them to explain their presence. They would have moved the sofa. In this fenced and hard-to-reach place, the police are surprised to meet a 14-year-old boy and two 15-year-olds on the scene. An investigation will make it possible to know if these three teenagers are the authors of the facts or if it is a coincidence.

Traffic was suspended for forty-five minutes.
