The Austrian manufacturer, known for its reliable storage solutions, has introduced three new cables to its Solid Flex series. These include USB-C 4.0, USB-C 3.2 Tether, and USB-A-to-C 3.2 variants, available in multiple lengths and connector configurations.
Built for the Demands of Daily Use
All cables in the Solid Flex line feature a distinctive, flexible cotton sleeve. This design not only enhances durability and resistance to daily wear but also helps prevent tangling. The cables are available in a signature lime color, with some models also offered in blue gray. They are also compatible with Angelbird’s Solid Connect system for secure attachment.

High-Speed Data and Power Delivery
The flagship USB-C 4.0 Solid Flex cable supports blistering data transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s and 8K video output at 60 Hz via DisplayPort Alt Mode. It also offers robust fast charging capabilities, delivering up to 100W for the 32cm version and an impressive 240W for the 1-meter and 2-meter variants. This versatility makes it ideal for connecting external drives, monitors, and charging devices.
These USB-C 4.0 cables are compatible with Thunderbolt 3, 4, and 5 systems, providing broad usability. Users can choose between straight-to-straight or straight-to-right-angle connector options, catering to specific setup needs.

Its integrated e-marker ensures efficient power and data transmission, crucial for uninterrupted studio sessions.
The longer length of tethering cables often presents a challenge for signal degradation.
