Angela de Jong, the scourge of the Dutch picture tube, reacts furiously to the broadcast of BOOS over The Voice of Holland. The remote control diva had a hard time pointing out what she found most disgusting: Jeroen Rietbergen, Marco Borsato, Ali B. or the ‘cold reaction’ of John de Mol.
In her column in the General Newspaper tells De Jong that she is disgusted by the shocking revelations of BOOS was watching. She calls the experiences of candidates with Jeroen Rietbergen and Marco Borsato ‘turning stomach’, while calling Ali B. ‘a monster’.
John de Mol also gets a lot from De Jong. “There sat an old white man who really has no idea how the world works in 2022 and apparently doesn’t read his sister’s magazine either. A man who is so far removed from reality that he cannot imagine that candidates ascribe a position of power to his brother-in-law Jeroen.”

Scandal in The Voice of Holland
De Jong almost fell off her couch. “I really didn’t know what I was hearing. Not a word about men – his colleagues, his friends, his brother-in-law, his confidants – who have to keep their hands and cock to themselves. Who shouldn’t see women as prey and how annoying it was that his success program was apparently a playground for raunchy types for years.”
Earlier in the evening, Özcan Akyol had a comparative commentary on the BOOS-reportage. In HLF8 he really embarrassed Johnny de Mol by thinking about the reaction. No matter how cold De Jong thinks John de Mol’s reaction is: “Don’t divert my indignation from the real culprits.”
