Things went completely wrong there on September 26, 2014, when she improperly intubated a woman who had just given birth in a drunken state. She faces three years in prison for involuntary manslaughter. At her trial, which started in Pau on Thursday, the Flemish from Dilbeek acknowledged guilt. “I have a drinking problem and couldn’t actually function.”
