“Over time, we do what we want and how we feel, whether we like it or not,” says the author about the creation of his first compilation of songs. “Therefore, as a music servant alone, with a blow to a physical object without harmonic and melodic dimensions, I still cannot fulfill myself. Every day I want to receive lightning power energy that paralyzes, gives strength, burns, freezes, makes you think. I have also captured this flow of vibrations in my first sound story, called “Green.”

Why Green? The answer is simple – it is Andris Buikis’ favorite color, which inspires him and gives him energy not at all easy to follow the path of music. “I’m an experimenter, so I allowed myself to include and summarize a variety of style features and moods in the album, as well as in both songs and instrumental compositions,” the musician sums up.

Andris Buikis’ debut solo album “Green” is also the first project of the newly established music publishing house “Very Cool Music”. The new label plans to help release, produce and co-produce both the solo albums of the members of the group “Very Cool People” and other funk, soul a jazz music tracks.

The new album was recorded and mixed in the Ciemupe Productions studio. Mastering or sound finalization was performed by Earle Holder “HDQTRZ Mastering Studios” in the USA.
