Andrine Hegerberg on her way to Swedish football

The Swedish newspaper Eskilstuna-Ekuriren writes on Wednesday that Hegerberg has an offer from Eskilstuna, and Nettavisen is familiar with the same information.

However, the online newspaper is aware that Eskilstuna is not the only club chasing the 28-year-old’s services, and that there is also concrete interest in Hegerberg from Häcken, as well. TV 2 reports.

Norwegian clubs, including Brann, are also said to have shown interest in Hegerberg, who according to Nettavisen information will prefer a transition to Swedish football.

Eskilstuna finished in fourth place last season, while Häcken snatched the silver behind the superb Rosengård.

Hegerberg suffered a serious injury when she broke her cruciate ligament in January 2021, and has been without a club since her contract with Roma expired this summer.

The 28-year-old has a long career abroad, and has played for Turbine Potsdam (Germany), Kopparbergs / Göteborg (Sweden), Birmingham (England) and Paris-Saint-Germain (France) before moving to Rome in the summer of 2019.
