The 13th edition of the “Maroc Web Awards”, which connects and awards each year the best Moroccan digital creators, was held this Saturday, July 11. A 100% digital live ceremony, which was attended by more than 200,000 people.
The 13th edition of the Maroc Web Awards (MWA) ended in apotheosis. Supported by inwi, one of the largest web competitions in North Africa and the Middle East has now become the unmissable event for connecting and giving priority to digital creators of the year.
Several innovations marked this 13th edition of the MWA, the closing ceremony of which took place on Saturday July 11. This annual meeting is the fruit of several working sessions organized by the MWA club and in which several leading players of the Moroccan web took part (young entrepreneurs, journalists, winners of previous editions, etc.).
This year again, and despite the health crisis, the enthusiasm of Moroccan internet users for the competition was intact. Official partner of the event for five years, inwi constantly reaffirms its commitment alongside the Moroccan web community in order to perpetuate this event, allow it to evolve and support the dynamic of 100% Moroccan digital creation.

This is how we support the evolution of the Moroccan web, by encouraging content creators to innovate, promote the digital economy and tech culture, “said Brahim Amdouy, Content Manager at inwi.
inwi places innovation, anchored in its DNA, at the heart of all its actions vis-à-vis its ecosystem. Thus, given the particular health context, the 13th edition of the trophy ceremony took place in a unique 100% digital format, without the physical presence of the public.
More than 105 finalists participated in this edition, in 5 different categories which cover the most popular themes in the digital field: blogger, creative, blogger, Instagram, YouTube channel, Facebook page, application, music, travel, cooking, science and education, humor, gaming, fashion and beauty, technology, sport and wellness, online article, photography, video and news site. Four participants were able to claim the podium.
Like a talkshow, a live was organized in a relaxed atmosphere, to present the winners of the different categories. It was moderated by Yassine Jarram, animator and content creator and former MWA winner.
The general public was able to follow, in real time, the results of the competition thanks to a broadcast on the inwi social networks and the web platforms of 2M and “Maroc Web Awards”. The wide dissemination of this event testifies to its scope as an unmissable event exclusively dedicated to the creation of digital content. It allows greater openness to a wider and more eclectic public, as well as a better promotion of MWA.
As a reminder, the laureates who had taken part in the previous editions succeeded, thanks to the MWA and the support of inwi, in making their way to success as creators of digital content or entrepreneurs of the digital world.
