The world No 1 won 6-7 (5/7) 6-3 6-4 6-2 after 3 hours and 13 minutes of play against Briton Kyle Edmund (ATP 44). Long transparent, the Serbian was able to raise the level of his tennis after the loss of the first round to reverse the course of the match without encountering major difficulties.
