Anaya, Barbosa and Cordero were allegedly accused by Lozoya of receiving bribes

Emilio Lozoya, former director of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), announced in his statement of facts about the Odebrecht case that between 2013 and 2014, 80 million pesos were delivered to seven legislators of the Congress of the Union for the approval of the Energy Reform, of according to the Ciro Gómez Leyva newscast in Image.

“Said resources delivered in cash were released as Luis Videgaray indicated and they were between 2013 and 2014, in various deliveries, to the operator sent by said group of legislators,” says said statement.

The seven public officials who received the aforementioned amount, according to Lozoya, are Ricardo Anaya, Miguel Barbosa, Ernesto Cordero, Francisco Domínguez, Jorge Luis Lavalle, David Penchyna and Salvador Vega Casillas.

It should be noted that Miguel Barbosa and Francisco Domínguez are the current governors of Puebla and Querétaro, respectively.

The 80 million pesos would have been delivered in seven different exhibitions and in various locations: the first was for 10 million and took place in the Hares Tower, while the second and third -which had an amount of 900 thousand pesos and 13 million euros. pesos, respectively, were raised in an alternate Pemex office, located in Montes Urales.

This trio of movements was performed in December 2013.

At the beginning of 2014, a fourth delivery was made, for an amount that amounted to 12 million 800 thousand pesos, in the aforementioned office.

In February of that year, the same amount was delivered to the Montes Urales office.

Finally, in the sixth and seventh installments – made in March and April of that year – six million 400 thousand pesos and 12 million 800 thousand pesos were awarded, respectively, in the same place.

Lozoya assured that there are acknowledgments of receipt of the aforementioned transactions.
