The season finale of ‘Family’ has been dealt some serious blows. Literal. There was heavy fighting between Lars and Koen. And also between Sam and Niko. Although the latter was because of a boxing match. Hanne is also presented with an unpleasant surprise, causing the viewer to go into the summer with many questions.

It was written in the stars that it would come to a hard confrontation between Lars and his half-brother Koen. After all, Koen has dived between the sheets with his wife Véronique, and already has the death of his father on his conscience. A fierce battle is followed by a breakneck race on the road. It only has a dramatic end, when Véronique suddenly shows up. She can just dodge a fighting Lars and Koen, but as a result she drives her car into the water. The vehicle goes under, she is nowhere to be seen. Koen dives after her, but he also disappears. Two lives passed here?

Other blows have fallen to Niko and Sam. Literally again, but during a boxing match. They had a slippery slope together that jeopardized his relationship with Mieke. Who also cheated on him with Lars. Things get messy and Niko turns Sam on so hard that she knocks him out with a solid punch until he bleeds. Niko falls motionless in the ring, in front of Sam and also Mieke, who showed up during the gala. Did Sam hit too hard?
The last unpleasant surprise is for Hanne. She organizes a real ‘welcome home party‘ for Quinten, until he doesn’t show up. He calls from Singapore with shocking news: “I was arrested at the airport. Drugs were found in my wheelchair…” Don’t make them laugh about that in Singapore. Viewers will not know how this all ends until after the summer holidays.
