A man’s body was found near the village of Chalayak, Kirklareli province, near the Turkish-Bulgarian border. It was established that the cause of death was frostbite, 24rodopi.com reports, citing Turkish media.
The man was without identity documents. The body was found by locals.
Investigators are working on different versions, most likely a migrant. It is possible that the man was in the group of 187 migrants who were caught in the area days ago. Some of them were half-naked and claimed to have entered Bulgaria from Greece, but our police detained them and, after taking away their valuables and clothes, directed them to Turkey.
