The MP from “There is such a people” Alexander Todorov was elected by the Minister of Sports Radostin Vassilev as the new executive director of the Bulgarian Sports Tote (BST). This can be seen from the documents submitted to the Commercial Register of the Registry Agency, BGNES reports.
The application was submitted on Friday (January 21st) via the Internet and is currently being processed.
Todorov is 32 years old and is a member of the 47th National Assembly elected by Pleven. He is a lawyer by profession and is currently a member of the parliamentary committee on children, youth and sports. According to initial information, Todorov will have to resign from his seat in order to take the post.
The documents submitted to the Registry Agency also state that Rosen Ivanov and Georgy Sultanov will also join the Toto Management Board.
During the week, Radostin Vassilev did not say names, but said there would be lawyers on the board to familiarize themselves with legal changes and explain to the minister how the company should operate “as freely as possible and in a larger market area”. “I will do my best to enable this company to make the profit it deserves as a market monopolist.”
