In 2021 in France, 5,276 transplants were performed. It’s better than in 2020, but it’s worse than before Covid-19. Hence the interest of the national day of reflection on organ donation which is organized today.
In Montluçon, an information stand will be set up from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the north hall of the Montluçon-Néris hospital center. The essential message to know is that everyone is presumed to be a donor, unless the refusal to donate was expressed during their lifetime.
Frédéric Charles is a nurse in charge of coordinating organ and tissue donations and removals at the Center hospitalier de Montluçon.
Henri Martinez lives in Estivareilles. He decided to donate a kidney to his seriously ill brother.
Organ donation information today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the hall of the hospital center of Montluçon, with the presence of the association of transplant recipients Gref 03.
