Western weapons are already helping the Armed Forces to change the course of the war.
Ukraine will receive two batteries of anti-aircraft missile systems NASAMSand not just two air defense systems.
This was stated by the speaker of the command of the Air Force of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat on the air Radio NV.
“We are talking about two batteries that have not only launchers, but also certain vehicles for charging, target detection and maintenance of complexes,” he said.
The speaker emphasized that manufacturers of air defense systems have limited capabilities, which complicates the process of transferring NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine. The same applies to the German IRIS-T air defense systems.
