Billionaire and eccentric Richard Branson has proposed a new project. Having previously planned commercial flights to space, he is now working with Rolls Royce to develop a new type of passenger aircraft. His company Virgin Galactic is working on a new supersonic aircraft that should be able to fly from London to New York in an hour and a half.

The plane could carry 9 to 19 passengers and be three times faster than the sound. That means that the device could reach a speed of up to 3,578 kilometers per hour. Reminiscent of the iconic Concorde, which was twice as fast as the sound, was also built by Rolls Royce and had its last flight in 2003.
