NEW YORK – Authorities are searching for a suspect in violently robbing an elderly woman and leaving her with multiple injuries in Manhattan.
According to the police, the attack occurred on Wednesday, November 18, at about 1:20 pm, when an unidentified man would have approached the victim, an 85-year-old woman, when she was on the corner of Madison Street and Guuverneur Street, and snatched her purse, which contained $ 30, before tossing it to the ground.
After the fall, the woman ended up with a fractured left elbow and shoulder. The victim was transported to New York Downtown Hospital in stable condition.
