An Egyptian dancer seeks help from her ex-husband, Saad Al-Saghir • Al-Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Egyptian dancer, Shams, sought help from her ex-husband, the artist Saad Al-Soghair, accusing him of kidnapping her from Alexandria to Cairo, torturing her, forcing her into a forced marriage, and killing her fetus.

Seven months pregnant

The dancer, Shams, said that she did not know why her divorced, Saad Al-Saghir, acted with her in such a violent manner, as she was seven months pregnant and there were no disputes between her and him.

She added that she never wanted to get pregnant from him, so as soon as she learned of her pregnancy, the artist Saad Al-Saghir threatened her that if she tried to get rid of their child in any way, he would cause problems with her. According to Cairo 24.

And the dancer, Shams, continued: “I originally did not want to get children from him because there were problems before that between me and him, and he lied to me and said that he divorced his wife, and he did not divorce her.

She explained that her ex-husband, Saad Al-Saghir, broke into her house, assaulted her and dragged her from her hair, and kept threatening her that he would do more than that to her.

And she said: “He entered the house and hit me and took my hair and said I’ll release you and Horiki, so why does he do that if he tells me from the beginning that he wants a child from me!”

Shams indicated that her ex-husband forced her to travel from Alexandria to Cairo under threat and beat her.

Forced abortion

She stated that her ex-husband forced her to abort her daughter when she was pregnant with her in the seventh month against her will, as he forced her to perform an abortion to get rid of the fetus, which led to her suffering a laceration in the womb.

And she continued: “Saad did not want to leave me alone, and he was photographing me naked and selling the pictures to a certain person. I walked from his face and traveled from Egypt because of him.
