As a result, the flight attendant asked the man to leave the plane, threatening him to bring law enforcement forces to take him down if he refused to leave, angering the rest of the passengers who shared details of what happened on social media.
For its part, the “Allegiant Aviation” company said in a statement: “The passenger was taken down for obstructing the flight attendant from clarifying safety instructions, which include policies for covering the face during the flight.”
The statement added: “The stewardess took off her face mask so that she could speak in a clear voice to make sure everyone understood the instructions, especially after some travelers complained that her voice was muffled because of the muzzle.”
It is reported that the guidelines posted on the airline’s website stipulate that “all crew members must wear a mask at all times and gloves during service on board the aircraft.”
