A rich lucky man paid $ 28 million for a trip to space. The adventurer won a tender place to travel with billionaire Jeff Bezos at the first space flight of his company “Blue Origin”, scheduled for July 20, AFP reported, quoted by BTA.
The winner, whose identity will be known only in a few weeks, was ahead of twenty other participants in the online auction, which lasted less than 10 minutes. The starting price for the place was 4.8 million dollars.
The man who won the auction will accompany the founder of Amazon, his brother Mark and another passenger. The trip will take place with the Blue Shepherd missile of the Blue Origin, which is scheduled to be launched on July 20 from western Texas.
