Naum Shopov decided on his career. After being convinced for a long time that he would dedicate himself to medicine, the screen doctor Tasev has now stated that he continues with acting.
“At the moment I have no plans to practice medicine,” he said on social media. He points out that he has done everything possible not to lose his rights so that he can return to the medical profession when he considers that the time has come for that.
Naum Shopov Jr. is a fourth generation actor – his great-grandmother is Mara Shopova, his grandparents are Naum and Nevena Shopovi, his father is Hristo Shopov, his aunt is Lisa Shopova. His mother Mariana Stanisheva is also an actress.
He decided to deviate from the family tradition and applied to medicine instead of the theater academy. When Lubo Neykov from the production team “Dream Team” called him to appear at the casting for the series “Stolen Life”, Naum decided to give it a try, mostly because the series is about medicine.
