AMSTERDAM – Yoga lessons for illegal residents paid by the taxpayer: it is possible in Amsterdam. The city council is also generous when it comes to receiving asylum seekers. In the first six weeks of 2020, the municipality of Amsterdam has already made almost 7 million euros available for the reception and activities of illegal immigrants. That amount shows a sharp upward trend.
