During a check on a motorist in Amsterdam last night, the police fired a shot and used a taser. The motorist then drove away and has not yet been found, reports said AT5. It is unknown whether the suspect was injured.
The incident happened last night around 2:00 am on the Mauritskade.
The police are investigating the incident and cannot yet say why the motorist was checked. It is also not known whether the officers fired in a targeted manner or whether it was a warning shot.
Moreover, it is unclear whether the suspect was hit by the electroshock weapon.
