Among the prize winners are students of the “Tensho” club

As many as 35 Lithuanian clubs and the Latvian team on March 13. participated in the karate kyokushin “Ippon” club cup competition in Vilnius. About 1,300 participants gathered for them.

The competition started with the anthems of Lithuania and Ukraine.
All age groups from 6 years to adult, A and B master classes were fiercely contested. “Tensho” karate kyokushin club from Klaipėda and Gargžda delegated 23 athletes. The following athletes from our club took third place: 12-year-old Martyna Veckutė (weight category -40 kg) and Austėja Macikaitė (weight category -45 kg), 8-year-old Neidas Agintas (weight category -25 kg) and Tajus Burba (weight category . +35 kg), 9-year-old Kamilė Totulytė (weight category -40 kg) and Rokas Stonys (weight category -30 kg), 10-year-old Neitas Petreikis (weight category -30 kg), 14-year-old Justinas Galbuogis in class A (weight category -50 kg) and Paulius Rusteika in class A (weight category +70 kg), 16-year-old Augustė Monstavičiūtė in class A (weight category -55 kg), 18-year-old Dovydas Bagočius in class A (weight category + 75 kg).
The following athletes from the “Tensho” club won second places: Domantas Pučkorius in class A (weight category -35 kg), Marijus Mažonas (weight category -45 kg), Aistis Lengvys in class A (weight category -45 kg) and Vilhelmas Žiedas (weight category +45 kg), 16-year-old Gytis Pučkorius in class A (weight category -65 kg), 8-year-old Mykolas Valinaitis (weight category +35 kg), 14-year-old Aron Mažonas (weight category -65 kg ), Markas Rimkus (weight category +70 kg) and Jonas Stanevičius in class A (weight category -50 kg). He fought four fights, won three convincingly and only lost to a Latvian athlete in the final in a draw.
