Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan was hospitalized on Saturday night. The 77-year-old actor has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor himself announced this via Twitter.
“I tested positive for COVID-19 and was taken to hospital. The hospital informs the authorities. Family and staff have since been tested. We await the results. Everyone who has been in my area for the past 10 days is requested to be tested. ”
Amitabh Bachchan is currently starring in the movie Gulabo Sitabo which can be viewed via Amazon Prime Video. In addition, he has worked on the films Brahmastra and Chehre.
UPDATE: his son Abhishek has also tested positive for the coronavirus.
