The police secured one unit ambulance along with four passengers who fled when questioned by officers in Menteng, Central Jakarta. The ambulance is suspected of supplying logistics and stones to the demonstrators.
This is known from the results of an examination of a passenger who had jumped from ambulance the. The information from the passenger is still being investigated by the police.
“What we secure is that the initials jump is N. Indeed, he said that the ambulance was not for health, but for sending logistics and stone indications to the demonstrators. Video of the ambulance about to hit the officer circulated on social media. The incident began when officers raided three series of vehicles in the Menteng area.
“We all know that there is a viral on social media, an ambulance was chased by officers when there was a demonstration in Menteng. I explained that there were three series of them. First, there was a series of motorbikes, then an ambulance, and another one was an ambulance. again, “said Yusri.
When the raid was carried out, Yusri continued, two initial series, from motorbikes to the first ambulance, stopped and were willing to be examined by officers. However, the ambulance in the last series tried to run away when they were about to be checked.
“But the third series, namely one ambulance, at the time it was stopped tried to run away. We know that there were four people in the ambulance and tried to run away by retreating and almost bumping into officers,” explained Yusri.
Yusri added that the ambulance sped twice at high speed to escape and nearly hit the security guard who was trying to inspect the ambulance.
“The ambulance withdrew, continued to be stopped again. It stopped for a moment and suddenly moved forward again, almost crashing into officers. Investigators are still investigating this,” said Yusri.
When the ambulance escaped from the officers, one of the passengers with the initials N jumped out. N was also secured by officers.
Then, the police conducted a search for the ambulance. Shortly thereafter, the ambulance and three passengers were secured.
“At night we found an ambulance and its people at Taman Ismail Marzuki. We now secure it to the Regional Police, who jumped 1 and the rest were 3. So there were 4 (people were secured),” said Yusri.
The police also interrogated the passengers for further investigation. One of the passengers with the initials N said the ambulance was not for medical purposes.
