Suara.com – United Arab Emirates (UEA) announced that it would launch a new mission in 2028, with the aim of visiting Venus and the seven mysterious objects on asteroid belt over the next 12 years.

The mission, announced by UAE vice -president Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid on October 5, will fly a second cross -planet in mid -2028.

Objects within the belt have been studied by space agencies, such as NASA in the past, but the UAE’s ambitious mission will aim to photograph seven asteroids and land on one of their surfaces to collect samples.

If it can achieve the overall plan in the mission, the UAE will be the fourth country to land on the surface of the asteroid.

Just like the mission Hope, the UAE space agency will work closely with the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado, Boulder. The name of the mission will be announced in the next announcement.

Venus has become an increasingly popular target for space missions in the past year.
NASA also plans to launch two spacecraft to the planet.

Not only that, both the Indian space agency and the European Space Agency (ESA) are also preparing their own investigations to explore the planet.

Venus has attracted scientists’ attention for its habitability potential since a 2020 study that found elevated levels of phosphine in the planet’s clouds.

However, since publication, the findings have been disputed and the data reanalyzed.
