During a court hearing between tabloid The Sun and Johnny Depp on July 21, an elevator camera footage was released showing Amber Heard and actor James Franco. The actress picked up Franco from the concierge desk, and they both took the elevator to Amber Heard’s apartment in Los Angeles. The recording shows that the actors want to hide their faces and are quite “close” to each other. The video is dated May 22, 2016, the day after Heard accused Depp of assault and battery, The Sun published an article in 2018 calling Depp a “ female boxer. ” The actor sued the tabloid for libel. He claims his ex-wife made up the whole story. Depp from the beginning of the battery charge accusation claimed that his wife had an affair with the multi-millionaire and founder of Tesla – Elon Musk and actor James Franco.
