Amazon is delaying mmorpg New World again, now coming out on August 31 – Gaming – News

Amazon Game Studios has again postponed the mmorpg New World. The game will now be released on August 31, more than a year after its originally planned release date. The developers are still working on end-game features for the game.

Of developer says a new zone and have come up with two game modes that it plans to implement before release. This is the Ebonscale Reach zone, a swampy area with cliffs. Here, an exiled empress threatens to build a fleet that could endanger the world.

The two game modes are Expeditions and Outpost Rush. Expeditions is one dungeon-like game mode where five players can work together to explore caves. Here they can learn about the New World game world and defeat difficult enemies. In Outpost Rush, two teams of 20 players each fight each other, trying to maintain control of strongholds and strategic resources. Amazon Game Studios says it is working on even more functions, without giving details.

New World had initially in May should appear, but was postponed for the second time last summer to the spring of 2021. Then the developer said he wanted to work on the mid and end game of the game. In the meantime, the developers have adapted the combat system, players can now fish and a new region has been added. The game’s closed beta starts on July 20th.

New World is a mmorpg set on Aeternum in the Eternal Isle. Players must fight against The Corrupted, whatever they choose melee of ranged combat and can use magic. The PC game costs 40 euros once.
