The state of the works – A process, that of reconstruction, which seems to have exhausted the thrust of the first periods following the disaster. According to the data of the Lazio Region, however, they are currently 550 private construction sites already started, to which more than 110 million euros have been granted. A figure to which another 55 million should be added, still in the approval phase, to start another 600 projects within the year. The Lazio regional councilor for reconstruction policies Claudio Di Berardino spoke of a “significant acceleration of the works recorded in recent months”.
As for the public reconstruction instead, there are 120 interventions in the design phase, some of which have already started tenders for the assignment. Among these there are also the Grifoni Hospital in Amatrice, the monumental cemetery and the “Pantani” chalet in Accumoli. Only over one hundred instead the apartments of housing construction, completed or nearing completion, which will be delivered to as many families by Christmas.
Prime Minister Conte at the commemoration – There will also be the premier Giuseppe Conte today 24 August at the commemorative celebration organized in Amatrice. The news comes from a note from Palazzo Chigi. Also the president of the Lazio Region Nicola Zingaretti he announced that he will participate in the celebration of the Holy Mass in suffrage for the victims of the earthquake.
