The municipality of Amares has the highest number of new cases of covid-19 infection in the Minho region.
According to the epidemiological bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health this Wednesday, Minho has a total of 3,838 confirmed cases, 28 more than the day before.
The numbers correspond to the data collected until 24:00 yesterday and include the data included in the SINAVE platform, which may default by 10%.
The municipality next to the Cávado river registered an increase of six cases (78). The municipality of Braga registered 3 more confirmed cases (1,199).

Famalicão maintains (394) and Barcelos also (295).
In the district of Braga, there was also an oscillation of numbers in the municipalities of Guimarães, with four more cases (699), Vizela, with four (128), Fafe, also with four (119), Terras de Bouro with two (10) and Esposende one more (45).
The remaining counties in the district of Braga keep the numbers from yesterday: Famalicão (394), Barcelos (295), Vila Verde 228, Póvoa de Lanhoso 58, Vieira do Minho 36, Celorico de Basto 23 and Cabeceiras (16)
In Alto Minho, Monção has two more cases (113), Viana do Castelo plus one case (183), as well as Melgaço (62).
Arcos de Valdevez (73), while Melgaço adds one more (62).
The rest remain with the same numbers: Arcos de Valdevez (73), Ponte de Lima 27, Caminha 18, Valença 12, Paredes de Coura 7, Cerveira 7 and Ponte da Barca 6.
