The vaccination campaign against COVID-19 throughout the Mexican republic does not stop and Aguascalientes is not the exception, however, on this occasion the government of said entity caused controversy by inviting young people between the ages of 18 and 29 who leave “ALV” (A Vaccination).

“Here pure vaccinated and lthose who do not ALV #ALaVacuna”, Highlights the publication that caused a furor on social networks.

In addition, it was Martín Orozco, governor of Aguascalientes, who shared the series of images and urged adults of these ages to go to the established vaccination centers.

“This week, vaccination against COVID-19 will continue in our state. The vaccination modules will arrive at Jesús María to apply the first dose to 18 to 29 year olds. The rest of the week the scheme will be completed with second doses for people between 40 and 49 years old ”, the official highlighted from his Twitter.

In the shared infographics, it was also mentioned that the interested parties must go with an official identification, the vaccination record and their Unique Population Registry Code (CURP).

Before the controversial campaign, users of social networks did not take long to react, including Chumel Torres and Capi Pérez.

For their part, other state-resident Internet users took the campaign proposal well and even made some funny comments.

“I love my hometown very much <3 grateful to calvillo AGUASCALIENTES, literally if we left ALV", remarked a user o “What nerves tomorrow I have to go #ALV (To the bovine, for those who are not from Aguas), said another.

Vaccination for people from 18 to 29 years old in Aguascalientes began last Wednesday, July 21 in the municipalities of Cosío, San José de Gracia and Rincón de Romos, the AstraZeneca antigen was applied.

With this action, Aguascalientes was the first entity outside the border area to start vaccination in all those of legal age.

In addition, at the national level, according to the latest SSa report, there have been 79,830,915 doses of coronavirus vaccine. This supply corresponds to the arrival of biologicals from six different laboratories.

Meanwhile, on July 26, 972,941 antigen applications, which was added to give a total of 61,858,631 inoculations from December 24, 2020.

Regarding the epidemiological traffic light, in the last update of the COVID-19 traffic light, the agency led by Jorge Alcocer reported that as of last Monday, July 26 and until August 8, three entities are in green, 15 in yellow, 13 in orange, and one in red.

Aguascalientes, Chiapas and Coahuila are the only states that are in green; in yellow: Baja California, Campeche, Chihuahua, Durango, Guanajuato, Michoacán, Morelos, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Sonora, Tabasco, Tlaxcala, Yucatán and Zacatecas are the entities that are currently in green color.

In orange: Baja California Sur, Mexico City, Colima, State of Mexico, Guerrero Hidalgo, Jalisco, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Tamaulipas and Veracruz. While Sinaloa is the only state that is in red.
