Alto Hospicio‘s Municipal Council has approved the acquisition of six new inclusive transport vehicles, including three buses and three minibuses, to serve the community.
The Municipal Council, under the leadership of Mayor Patricio Ferreira, has greenlit a public proposal to purchase three new buses and three minibuses. These vehicles are designed to meet the diverse mobility needs of Alto Hospicio’s residents, ensuring greater accessibility for all.
mayor Ferreira highlighted that the new fleet will be inclusive and available for use by community organizations, the elderly, and groups involved in social, cultural, sports, and educational activities, facilitating their participation in various events.
This initiative, funded by the Regional Government, represents a significant investment in the commune’s infrastructure. The acquisition includes three buses and three minibuses specifically equipped for inclusive transport, aiming to improve the transfer of individuals with disabilities and mobility limitations.
The minibuses will each accommodate 31 passengers,while the buses will offer seating for 42 passengers,featuring semi-reclinable seats and a bathroom. This expansion of the transport fleet is expected to enhance the quality of life for many in Alto Hospicio.
