Monthly meeting and ceremony in June
Each month, from September to May, journalists from DNA and of L’Alsace invite you to nominate an Alsatian athlete of the month, amateur or professional. The nominees selected by the sports services are subject to an online vote from the first Tuesday of the month to the following Monday at 6 p.m. The athlete of the month is revealed in the columns of the two newspapers and on the sites and applications the following Tuesday. Nine athletes will thus be designated throughout the season.
Then, before the big evening of the Alsace Sports Trophies, an athlete of the year will be chosen, also by public vote, from among the nine athletes of the month. Two other athletes will still be distinguished. During this same evening of the Trophies, which is to be held in June, three clubs will be distinguished in three categories: environmental responsibility, social integration, sporting achievement.
