Almost a third of Ukrainians are ready to vote for Zelensky again

Zelenskiy has the most political support among Ukrainians

The current and previous presidents remain in the top of the electoral rating. The gap between the two is about eight percent.

The incumbent President Volodymyr Zelenskyy continues to lead the rating of political sympathies of Ukrainians. He would receive about 30% of the popular vote if the presidential elections were held soon. This is evidenced by the results of a sociological survey conducted by the company Gradus Research in December this year.

It is noted that 30% of respondents who plan to take part in the voting are ready to give their vote for Zelensky and have made a precise choice. Among all respondents, the level of support for the incumbent is 21%.

The second place in terms of the level of support among Ukrainians was taken by the fifth president, MP Petro Poroshenko, who is ready to support 22% of the respondents who made their choice. Moreover, among all respondents, this indicator is at the level of 14%.

“Support for Vladimir Zelensky is higher in the Central and Southern regions. Support remains significant among the younger age group. Petro Poroshenko is supported mainly in the Western region and Kiev, as well as among older respondents,” the release says.

The third place in the rating is occupied by the People’s Deputy, ex-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov (9% of the votes determined and 6% among all respondents), the fourth is shared by the People’s Deputy Yuriy Boyko and Yulia Tymoshenko (both have 6% and 4%, respectively), the fifth – ex-prime minister Vladimir Groisman and politician Igor Smeshko (each has 5% and 3% of the votes, respectively).

The sociological survey was conducted by the research company Gradus Research on December 7-8, 2021 by self-filling the questionnaire in the Gradus mobile application. The survey involved 2,000 respondents.

We will remind, in March in the rating of trust of Ukrainians Zelensky and the mayor of Kiev were in the lead Vitaliy Klichko. A year earlier, a survey showed that 46% of Ukrainians believe in Zelensky.
