The lowest old-age pension, invalidity pension, survivor’s pension and social pension amount to PLN 1,338.44 gross, or PLN 1,217.98 “available”. There are also many pension supplements – most of them change each year in March, when indexing takes place.
The most popular of the supplements is the nursing allowance. This year, the supplement for a complete orphan increased to PLN 481.97 gross, the veteran allowance to PLN 256.44 gross, a compensation allowance up to PLN 38.47 gross, a care allowance for a war disabled person deemed completely unfit for work and independent living at PLN 66 gross 384, and the war disabled pension supplement up to PLN 981.81 gross.
However, these aren’t the only extras seniors may request for. These include housing and energy allowances.
Seniors can claim these allowances, including housing and energy allowances. Also in November 2022 it will be possible to request many pension supplements. Details are presented in the gallery below.
