Alleged Killer of One Family in Baki Sukoharjo Arrested

SUKOHARJO, KOMPAS.com – One family who was found dead at his house RT 001, RW 005, Slemben Hamlet, Duwet Village, Baki District, Regency Sukoharjo, Central Java, Friday (21/8/2020) night, was a murder victim.

Chief of Police Sukoharjo AKBP Bambang Yugo Pamungkas said the police succeeded in securing a perpetrator who was suspected of murdering the family.

The perpetrator with the initials HT (41) was arrested in Baki, Sukoharjo, Saturday (22/8/2020) at 04.00 WIB.

“We managed to arrest the perpetrator in Baki at 04.00 WIB,” he said at a press conference at the Baki Police, Sukoharjo, Central Java, Saturday afternoon.

The perpetrator and the victim have a relative or friend relationship. The perpetrator is suspected of being desperate to kill a family because of debt problems.

The perpetrator wants to control the assets owned by the victim. In fact, after killing a family with a kitchen knife, the perpetrator left with the victim’s car.

“The perpetrator has quite a lot of debt outside. He has the desire to control what the victim has,” he explained.

Bambang said that he was still exploring the motives of the perpetrators until he killed a family with this cruelty.

“Meanwhile, we are still exploring it. Meanwhile, the confession from the perpetrator was desperate to kill the victim because of urgency,” he explained.

Apart from arresting the perpetrators, the police also secured a number of outraged pieces of evidence such as kitchen knives, the victim’s car and others.

“Our perpetrators are wearing Article 365 in conjunction with 338 and or 340 of the Criminal Code with a maximum sentence of life imprisonment,” said Bambang.
