Alla Pugacheva: “We were servants, we became slaves”

Singer Alla Pugacheva, who previously issued an anti-war statement and allegedly left Russia, posted a post on her Instagram, which again sparked public outcry.

“What a blessing that those people I haven’t always put up with hate me. If they like me, it would mean that I sang and lived in vain. The reason is clear. Let them grind their teeth. Pugachev.”

The singer didn’t specify who exactly she had in mind, but it’s probably those Pugacheva subscribers who criticized her for her anti-war stance.

In mid-September, Pugacheva published a post on social networks with call the Russian authorities to put her on the lists of “foreign agents”. Thus, for the first time, the singer spoke openly about the Russian invasion of Ukraine and supported the position of her husband Maxim Galkin, who opposes the war and has already been recognized as a “foreign agent”.

“I am in solidarity with my husband, an honest, dignified and sincere man, a true and incorruptible patriot of Russia, who wishes the Fatherland prosperity, a peaceful life, freedom of speech and an end to the death of our children for illusory goals that make the our country is an outcast and they make life difficult for our citizens, “said Pugacheva. A number of subscribers supported her, another part of them harshly criticized the singer.

The day before, information appeared in the media that Alla Pugacheva and her children flew to Israel, where her husband is currently, and they no longer intend to return to Russia. In addition, the couple allegedly put their real estate in Russia up for sale. There is no confirmation of this information. Neither Pugacheva nor Galkin have yet commented.
